Telefónica Brazil – São Paulo

Air quality in urban areas is a serious threat to public health. Telefónica Brazil (Vivo) has developed a solution to estimate and predict air quality in São Paulo, the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere by population, with around 12 million. Telefónica’s project in São Paulo has proven loT and mobile big data together are a powerful tool with which to predict and analyse traffic patterns, and resulting air pollution, providing a unique solution to address air quality’s impact on the city and its inhabitants.
